Using high standard technology to keep our clients safe within the community as always been a huge priority for us here at Blue Arrow.
Since we opened in 2015 we have always used electronic systems to ensure we are delivering the safest care possible ensuring we know where carers are at all times, knowing when carers have booked on and of visits means we know if a carer has not turned up, is running late etc.
Electronic care planning and E-mar are also used. This is a system called Birdie. When a clients situation changes or medication is changed this can be updated within minutes and goes live immediately meaning carers have access to the most up to date care plans for our clients meaning they can deliver the most effective care to them.
Families from the UK to across the world can access birdie live at any time to get an update on how the day is going, monitor day to day visits, timings and much more. Families have described the app as “Wonderful’ ” I feel so at ease knowing I can log on at any time and see what is happening on care visits” “its invaluable to me as I live in China, it makes me feel involved day to day with my mums care without having to contact the office all of the time”

One client said
“This service is incredible, Blue Arrow let me use one of their iPad’s to see if I liked it before I brought my own. They helped me set it up, set up emails, Facebook, join groups with people I had things in common with and most importantly connected me with a long-lost friend I had not seen or spoken to for 35 years. As a result of this service, we got in touch and my friend flew from Hong Kong with his family to come and see me that same year.” – Julian
